Clay Wave workshop in Italy next month at the most beautiful La Meridiana in the Tuscany hills. Everbody can sign up. Its a clay heaven with lots of good wine and food. 15-24 July
April 2021 / Work In Progres / HORNFISH & HERRING / I have two boys who are about to turn into young fishermen. The amount of time we have spent together on the lake, in the river, by the coast, are many and wonderful and a big part of my life. But soon to be less, because they can row their own boat now. So even though this clay sculpture is made from fish they have caught, (cast in plaster), it is really about childhood; How it is slipping away so fast, through my fingers, like fish in the water...
New Studio. The start of 2021. During the Corona Lockdown and traveling restrictions, I decided to build a new studio, so there will be more space for big pieces and new ideas.
Dec. 9. 2020. - I was meant to travel to Boston today, for the opening of the exhibition. Hopefully there will be another time. But at least get to show with these fantastic artist, and have a zoom discussion tomorrow.
